Brody's New Ride

Kim and I attended a women's gathering from church, where we signed up for the table decorating contest. Surprisingly to us we won first place. We had a great time that night. I love being able to spend time with my sister. As we get older our relationship just keeps getting better, I am so blessed to have Kim in my life, I love her so much.

We don't want to get to excited but, this is the second time this weekend that Brody has come to us when he needed to use the potty. I hope that this continues but you never know, it would be really great to have him out of diapers by the time he turns 2.

Monster Wagon

One of Brody's favorite things to do is to ride in his monster wagon that Jason built for him. He would stay in it all day long if we let him.

Brody's Picture Day

Brody had picture day at daycare today. These are the pictures I took of him this morning before we left. It seems like picture day never goes well for Brody, the past two times that he has had picture day he was either sick or all bruised up. So today I was hoping for a great picture, well that didn't happen. I recieved a phone call from the day care this morning and they let me know that Brody was running after something and tripped and fell hard into the wooden toy box, leaving a huge egg shaped bruise right in the middle of his forhead. So once again picture day didn't go well for Brody. There are some pics in the slideshow that show his briuse, it is a little hard to see due to the lighting.

Halloween 2008

This year for Halloween we took Brody to my parent's house. Their neighborhood always goes all out, with a hayride to each of the houses and then a great big neighborhood party to follow the trick or treating. It is great to catch up with old friends and see new additions to the families.

Picking Just the Right One

We took Brody to Schnepfs Farm to pick his pumpkin. He had such a great time. What a fun place to bring the family.

First Outdoor Adventure

This was Brody's first day in whitetail deer country. Brody enjoyed his day trip with Daddy and Uncle Robert.

Last year Brody was a Monkey, this year I have know idea what he should be, I am open to any suggestions. I just can't believe that Halloween is around the corner all ready.

Was He Really This Small?

Only 18 months ago he was this little, I cant believe how fast he has grown.

Grandma's Party

I would just like to thank everyone that came out to celebrate my grandmas life. It was a wonderful turn out, we believe about 65 to 70 people came over. It was so nice to see all of the family. A special thanks to those who traveled many miles to make it out. Arizona weather is so unpredictable, we put this gathering off for a whole month just so it would be cooler, but today just proved that summer is still here in Phoenix. Grandma would have really enjoyed herself today, she would have loved to see all of the baby animals, all of her great friends and wonderful family, and she would have especially loved to see all of her great grandchildren playing with each other all day long. I know she was with us today in spirit, but it is still hard to imagine that she is gone. I miss her so much.

Got Dirt?

This is what happens when you leave a one year old unattended at mimi and pop pops house. We were all over at my parents house for my Grandmas celebration of life party. It had been awhile since I had seen Brody, and this is how I found him playing in all of the ashes from the fire pit. It was so funny, he had a blast getting dirty. He wasn't to happy when we took off all his clothes and sprayed him down with the hose.

Just like Daddy

Brody is just fascinated with tools, he loves fixing things already. He loves watching his dad work in the garage, and Jason can't wait until Brody is old enough to help him on projects.

My beloved Grandma

This is my grandma with Brody when he was just a little baby.
My grandma passed away on 8-21-08, she was 92 years old. She
was a wonderful woman that lived a great life. She loved everyone
and was loved by everyone. She will be greatly missed.

Jezebel
