Jason and I decided to take Brody fishing for the first time this Saturday. We went to Bear Canyon Lake, which is just East of Payson.

So Kim and I took Brody to get his 2 year old pictures taken today and boy did I learn how strong willed my son is. He did not want anything to do with getting his picture taken. We had an appointment at 11:00 and we tried everything to get him to stay on the mat, when nothing worked they asked us to come back at 2:30. We thought well maybe if we give him a little break he will be ready to go when we get back. NOPE, he wasn't ready then either. We were able to get some good pics, so I am very happy about that.

Big Boy Bed

Jason and I decided that it was time for Brody to have a "Big Boy Bed", so we converted his crib into a toddler bed. Brody was having a blast throughout the day running into his room to jump up onto his bed. I kept telling myself I need to go to the store to buy a bed rail, but I never made it. That's where the sofa cushions come in, we knew we had to have some kind of padding just in case he rolled off. Well not 5 minutes before I took this picture, Jason says to me "what time do you think Brody will wake up from him falling out of bed", my response was "well as soon as we fall asleep", because that's usually when he wakes us up. Right after he said that I had to go check up on Brody and this is how we found him. He didn't even wake up from us laughing, I am just glad he had the padding.

Before Pictures Of My Class

These are the before pictures of my classroom. As you can tell they look nothing alike. It took my friend Laurie and I many hours to create the amazing space pictured below. We had to repaint the room, rip up the tile, level the floor, and paint the floor. We are very proud of ourselves for taking a space that no one wanted and turning it into something so special. Jason was also a HUGE part in making this room come to life. I can't thank him enough for all of his love and support. He truely is an outstanding guy.

Children's Museum of Phoenix

If you have never been to the Children's Museum of Phoenix, I highly reccomend it. Brody had a blast, everything thing there is hands on and kid friendly. You could spend hours there and not even realize it, because it is that much fun. The Museum is on 7th St. and Van Buren, check it out!
